Shari Villarosa, Deputy Coordinator of Regional Affairs, Office of Counterterrorism, U.S. Department of State. Shari Villarosa is a career senior State Department Foreign Service Officer who served in this position beginning in September 2008. She was US Chief of Mission in Yangon from August 2005-8. Prior to that she served as Director of Philippines, Malaysia, Brunei and Singapore Affairs; Economic Counselor at the US Embassy in Jakarta and Charge d’Affaires of the new Embassy in Dili, East Timor among other Foreign Service assignments. She has been the Diplomat-in-Residence at the East-West Center in Hawaii, is a graduate of the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill in international studies and holds a law degree from the College of William and Mary.

Parking

The Visitors Parking Lot is on your left as you enter campus. A few handicapped parking spaces are located at the Visitor’s Circle right in front of the fishpond area and below the Peterson Student Center. A few more are located behind the Peterson Center as follows. Just before the Visitor’s Circle, look for the fork in the road where you would normally drive to the left to get to the Visitors’ Parking Circle just below the Peterson Center. Instead, turn right and follow the drive up to the other parking area. There are two or three handicapped parking spaces on the left. Please note that this parking lot is not open to the public, but handicapped folks are allowed to park in the designated spaces.
